The Symphony of Spring

The robin announces 

the arrival of spring

with a flurry of chirps

as the ever warmer

ever delightful sun 

shines over its shoulder

Part of this morning symphony

of such glorious proportions

is a hidden inner message

which one must listen carefully

a counterpoint of exquisite

subtlety and superb technique

that only with one’s heart and soul

can this proclamation be heard

What does the herald cry
